ACAD alumni advance the knowledge and understanding of the importance of visual culture and design to the economic, cultural and social life of our communities and society. They apply creative thinking and ability in the fields of culture, research, commerce, manufacturing, education and countless others.
ACAD is committed to encouraging life long relationships with our graduates and encouraging their ongoing connectivity with the College and with each other. Around the world ACAD alumni play a vital role as the college's most ardent supporters, ambassadors and student mentors. ACAD alumni are defined as those individuals who have received 30 or more credits from ACAD. If you have not heard from ACAD in a while, please let us know.

Each year the Alberta College of Art + Design is pleased to present the Board of Governors Alumni Award of Excellence to distinguished ACAD Alumni at the ACAD Convocation Ceremony. Past recipients of the Board of Governors Alumni Award of Excellence have included members of the international art and design community, all of whom have made a significant contribution to the arts community and have demonstrated excellence in their field of practice.
