Audiovisual Services (AVS) is located on Level 4 in room 438, AVS provides equipment loans and audiovisual technical support in support throughout the campus. With your validated ACAD student ID, you can borrow equipment such as projectors, lights, speakers, and audio recorders. Audiovisual Services is also the primary contact point for C+TS Technical Support for Faculty and Staff including technical support for the Stanford Perrott Lecture Theatre. To reserve equipment call 403.284.7668.

Please make equipment reservations through email, in person in room 438, or by phone at 403.284.7668. We also manage certain equipment on behalf of Academic Programs. An ACAD ID Card is required for equipment loans.

Located on Level 5 in room 543 the AVSuite supports audio and video digital recording and capture from a variety of sources as well as digital editing, effects workstations, sound recording, final rendering, print to tape and DVD authoring. The facility also supports a modest sound stage for live digital recording.
The technician manages and operates the facility and provides technical support to all Faculty, Staff and Students enrolled in classes at ACAD. Reservations are required and made with the technician.
Located behind the Audiovisual Suite in room 595 the Media Project Studio is used for seminars, lectures, and media production and is also linked to the 543 (AVSuite) for audio recording.
The C+TS Photo Documentation Suite is located on Level 2 (Room 203) and is available for self serve use by faculty, staff and students. The facility is well-equipped and specifically designed for the photography of artwork using either film or digital means. The Audiovisual technicians manage the facility and provide technical support. Please make reservations in person at Audiovisual Services room 438 or call 403.284.7668.
