
Certificates of Achievement in Graphic Design and in Jewellery Enhanced Skills are offered for adults. Each certificate provides a learning pathway for students who are interested in progressing through a set of knowledge. Please see the online calendar for certificate details in each area.
Online registrants can print a Confirmation of Registration while online.
Telephone, walk-in, mail, and fax registrants will receive their Confirmation of Registration by email. Please be sure to check your email within 48 hours to ensure your registration is confirmed.
EVERYONE! Be sure to download your course supply list from Extended Studies Course Supply Lists. This document will also give you important course start information. Please ensure you are prepared to work at your first class.
If you misplace your Confirmation of Registration, please check the computer in the Extended Studies office window on the main mall level to find your room number. Extended Studies staff and the Security officer can help you find your room at the college.
If your course is cancelled, you may either transfer to another course (with no administrative fee) or receive a full refund. We will make every effort to contact you at home or at work prior to the start date of the course if cancellation is necessary.
ACAD food services are available weekdays until 7:00pm and limited hours on Saturdays at the Arthole coffeebar in the cafeteria area.
Vending machines are located throughout the college.
Parking is available in the Jubilee parkade, south of ACAD for a current fee of $8.00 per entry. This parkade does not allow in and out privileges.
The SAIT parking garage entry fee is $5.00, no in/out privileges. This covered parkade is a quick walk into ACAD through the SAIT Student Centre and Jubilee walkway.
The Dalhousie leg of the LRT stops at ACAD. At the station, take the stairs up one level and walk west into ACAD and down the stairs to the Jubilee walkhallway. In the Jubilee walkhallway, take the stairs on your left up to our main mall level.
Please feel free to contact the office if you would like advice regarding your course selection. All of us are familiar with the courses and our instructors. We are experienced in student learning needs, understand the supplies and are delighted to be of assistance.
On the entry level of the Jubilee parkade, there is handicapped parking near the entrance ramp. Once inside the building, the handicap elevator is on your left after the Library entrance. It will take you to the main mall level where you can access other elevators or request assistance from our office or the Security staff.

Credit-free adult and teen course supply lists are online. Be sure to print your course supply list and come to your first class prepared to work. Your course supply list also contains important course start information for you. We recommend that you wait until one week before your course starts in case of adjustments to the list, and that you purchase only your first class supplies until your instructor discusses the full list with you.
Credit course supplies are not listed online. Your instructor will discuss supplies with you during your first class. Please be prepared to purchase some supplies at the ACAD Bookstore during your first class.
You can purchase your supplies and materials at the ACAD Bookstore if you choose. Regular hours of operation for the Bookstore are 8:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday. The bookstore is closed Saturdays and Sunday.
Your tax form (T-2202) will be available online in March of the year following your course date. You will require your user ID, which is on your confirmation of registration, to access your information.
