ID Cards

At ACAD, validated ID cards are required to access the ACAD Library, Computing + Technical Services (C+TS) and SAIT Campus Centre facilities.

All students, including Extended Studies students, will be issued an ID card and will be required to wear it while on campus. Once you have been admitted to a program at ACAD (or have registered as a Non-Degree, Visiting or Mobility student), you will be provided with an ACAD ID card that must be validated each semester when you pay your fees.

ACAD ID Cards are required to access our building, and should be worn at all times while on campus.

Q: Who is able to get an ID Card?

A: All current ACAD staff, faculty and registered students will be given an ID Card.

Q: How do I get an ID Card?

A: To receive your ID Card, visit Security in the red kiosk in the ACAD Main Mall. Please bring one piece of photo ID, and proof of registration or employment. Your first ID Card is included in your student fees, and there is a $15 cost for replacement cards. ID cards are available year round, during ACAD business hours.

Both of the main entrances to the building as well as the interior card controlled doors will be open from 0700-2000 Monday through Friday, with no card read-in required.
