ACAD students have access to a wide variety of medical services on our neighboring SAIT campus, a short five minute walk from the ACAD front doors. A Nurse is in attendance Monday through Friday for the Fall, Winter and Spring Sessions. (During breaks and Summer Session reduced hours are in effect.) Doctors, chiropractors and massage therapists are available by appointment. Medical records and information are confidential and information will not be released without a student's written permission.

As a member of ACADSA you are covered by the Student Health and Dental Benefits Plan. Full time students are assessed a mandatory coverage premium as part of their tuition and student fees in the fall semester. Coverage extends until August of the next year. Family coverage is also available. Students with similar alternate coverage can choose to opt out of the plan and receive a premium refund. Visit www.ihaveaplan.ca for opt-out forms.
