Getting Ready - College Preview Day and New Student’s Orientation
Family + Friends College Preview

May 26, 2012

Having a supportive and informed network of family and friends can help make your time at ACAD much more productive and easier to transition into. Besides, you've successfully negotiated the application process and it is time to show off your new home - so bring your supporters to the Family + Friends College Preview! This event provides an opportunity for supporters to learn more about ACAD and how they can support students during their studies. Work from the current Graduating Students' Exhibition will also be on view.

Faculty, staff and administration representatives will be available to answer questions about curriculum + academics, counselling, course registration, health + safety, disabilities + learning assistance, housing, money matters, admissions and computers + email. You’ll also be able to hear words of wisdom from a parent who has been through this before, and find out more about workload and expectations of students in First Year Studies.

Students, family, partners or spouse are invited to this session. Stay afterwards for a few snacks and casual conversation with college resource people.
