WHEN: Thurs, Feb 9 from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m.

WHERE: Room 532

ARTIST STATEMENT:

My research is informed by family ties to politics in Northern Ireland.

The subjects in this work address agendas of outlawed political organizations and those who have been affected by these agendas. Part of my process is excavating images, revealing underlying layers, from which media such as paint and pigments become carriers of meaning, expressing melancholy, anxiety, displacement, hidden truths or erasure.
