An Exhibition of ConEd Students

The work created by our students in Continuing Education continues to amaze and inspire us. In fact, it is so good that we’ve decided to shine a spotlight on their accomplishments through a juried exhibition of their work.

Spotlight was the first exhibition of its kind, in Alberta, that highlighted the broad range of art, craft and design pieces created by teens and adults who have taken courses with us over the years.  The exhibition showcased 102 pieces by 84 students created in class, or outside of class with the skills they they’ve gained from our courses.  Current and past students of ACAD Continuing Education were included.  Our youngest exhibitor is 15 years of age and our most senoir exhibitor is 79 years of age!

The exhibition was juried by Katherine Ylitalo, who is an independent curator, writer, garden historian, horticulturalist and educator based in Calgary.
