Student ID cards and building access

Find out how to get your ACAD ID card and how to use it.

You’ll need your ID card to access any academic areas on campus – even during normal business hours – so make sure you have it on you at all times.

ACAD building hours

Fall and winter semester: 7 a.m. - 1 a.m. daily (closed from December 23 through January 1)

Spring and summer semester: 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. daily

Who is eligible for an ID card?

All students (full-time, part-time, and Continuing Education students), faculty, and staff are eligible to have an ACAD ID card free of charge.

How do I get an ID card?

Visit the red security kiosks in the main mall during normal business hours with your picture ID and proof of registration or employment at ACAD to pick up your card.

I lost my ID card. How do I get a new one?

Replacement ID cards cost $15 and are available at security during business hours. Bring your picture ID and proof of registration or employment with ACAD.
