Student ID cards and building access
Find out how to get your ACAD ID card and how to use it.
You’ll need your ID card to access any academic areas on campus – even during normal business hours – so make sure you have it on you at all times.
ACAD building hours
Fall and winter semester: 7 a.m. - 1 a.m. daily (closed from December 23 through January 1)
Spring and summer semester: 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. daily
Who is eligible for an ID card?
All students (full-time, part-time, and Continuing Education students), faculty, and staff are eligible to have an ACAD ID card free of charge.
How do I get an ID card?
Visit the security office in the main mall during normal business hours with your picture ID and proof of registration or employment at ACAD to pick up your card.
When do I need to use my card?
You’ll need your card at all times. Even during normal business cards, you need your card to access all academic areas on campus, so be sure to keep it with you.
I lost my ID card. How do I get a new one?
Pay the replacement ID card fee ($25) at the cashier. Bring proof of payment, picture ID and proof of registration or employment to security during business hours and a replacement card will be issued.
