PNTG 101 - Painting

This course introduces students to a range of materials, processes, and concepts in contemporary painting. Materials are assigned by the instructor and may include any or all of the following: acrylic, oil, collage, mixed media. Critical analysis involving reading, one reseach project, and group critiques will be a part of this class. Contemporary and historical imagery is examined and discussed.
