Marion International Fellows for the Visual and Performing Arts, Lynn Neuman and Joshua Davis, will be at ACAD working on the creation of TOSS, a movement theatre work examining the impact of consumerism and waste on the environment.

Mental Illness Awareness Week

Mental Illness Awareness Week (MIAW) is an annual national public education campaign designed to help open the eyes of Canadians to the reality of mental illness. The week was established in 1992 by the Canadian Psychiatric Association, and is now coordinated by the Canadian Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health (CAMIMH) in cooperation with all its member organizations and many other supporters across Canada.

Anne Drew Potter is a figurative sculptor and works with distortions of human anatomy that address issues of contemporary identity.

Her work addresses historical and contemporary narratives, and the importance of the lived bodily experience. 

Students in Sculpture, Ceramics, Fibers, Photography, Figurative Painters, and Visual Story Tellers would be a perfect fit for this presentation, but all are encouraged to attend.
