ACAD's Tenth Annual Horse Show

WHERE: Main Mall, Alberta College of Art + Design

The Tenth Annual HORSE Show is taking over ACAD this Friday, April 1. 

Get ready for a night of rad performances, wicked installations, mind blowing videos, and (cool synonym) everything-else-in-between, featuring 40+ artists! PLUS a full lineup of music curated by Callum Beckford.

Film Screening: The River by Jean Renoir

WHEN: Saturday, January 31 at 2:30 p.m.

WHERE: Stanford Perrott Lecture Theatre, Alberta College of Art + Design

Exquisitely shot in luminous Technicolour The River is a visual tour de force and a glorious, meditative tribute to the sights and sounds of Indian culture. It became the first Technicolor film made in India as well as first color film for director Jean Renoir, son of the impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir.

Marion International Fellows for the Visual and Performing Arts, Lynn Neuman and Joshua Davis, will be at ACAD working on the creation of TOSS, a movement theatre work examining the impact of consumerism and waste on the environment.
