ACAD + ATB Present | Tempered Transformation

Tempered Transformation is a survey exhibition of work from the Alberta College of Art + Design’s (ACAD) School of Craft + Emerging Media, featuring work from current students, faculty and alumni of the Ceramics program. The title is a reference to the discipline and control necessary to work in a medium overwhelmed by change.

2017 ACAD Summer Residency Exhibition

The 2017 Summer Artist Residency Exhibition provided artists, of various disciplines, space and time to engage in independent/self-directed study.

This three-month residency provided artists access to some of ACAD’s studio resources and engage in peer collaboration.

ACAD + ATB Present | True Colors

As the lead supporter of the Calgary Pride Festival, ATB believes in love and inclusivity for all Albertans.

To celebrate this occasion, the theme for the summer exhibition is True Colors and will embrace the ideas of acceptance, belonging and community.

Select ACAD alumni and current students will exhibit various pieces that will answer questions like what does Pride mean and how do you show your true colors?

Water for Riley: Design Exhibit

A true community project, inspired by the need for access to drinking water for all comers, this exhibit showcases 21 innovative and playful designs from students from ACAD and SAIT for a much-needed, new public water fountain for Riley Park.
