Marion Nicoll Exhibition: Halie Finney - Together to Gather

WHEN: Now until Saturday, March 25, 2016

WHERE: Marion Nicoll Gallery, LRT Walkway

This unlikely gang, club, family, or whatever you want to call it, lives at the edge of a forest and spends most of their time outside doing chores. None of them know the purpose of their club. Are they protecting and guarding the line in the forest between where the ghosts live and where we live?

Are they there to take care of lost animals? Or do they just use the club as an excuse to see each other everyday.

Marion Nicoll Exhibition: Emily Lendl

WHEN: Monday, January 25 until Friday, February 5, 2016

Opening Reception: Thursday, February 4 at 5 p.m.

WHERE: Marion Nicoll Gallery (Main Space), Alberta College of Art + Design

This exhibition consists of five Bad Girl assemblages. These liberating and unruly girls aren't polite and do not fit the mold of the ideal female; they are crude, loud, aggressive and they make fun of whoever they want, including themselves.

Marion Nicoll Exhibition - Cindy Skrukwa - 27 Months After the Flood

WHEN: Now until Friday, January 15, 2016

WHERE: Marion Nicoll Gallery (LRT Walkway)

27 Months After the Flood explores physical and psychological evidence of the 2013 flood still in place today.

The message intended is that, while Calgary is now dry, much evidence of the flood still remains and continues to take a physical and emotional impact on those directly affected.
