Tempered Transformation is a survey exhibition of work from the Alberta College of Art + Design’s (ACAD) School of Craft + Emerging Media, featuring work from current students, faculty and alumni of the Ceramics program. The title is a reference to the discipline and control necessary to work in a medium overwhelmed by change.

The name of the exhibition was coined by our beloved Jasmine Valentina, a student, at the time, in the Fibre Program.

Master of Fine Arts, Craft Media First-Year Exhibition

An in-progress thought-sculpture featuring the work of students from the MFA in Craft Media program at ACAD. Participating artists include Xavier Bernal Bladh, Bogdan Cheta, Anton Cu Unjieng and Robert Froese. A panel discussion surrounding the outcome(s) of this project will take place on Friday, March 17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

We are living in a time of information overload yet there is more than ever a sense of censorship and carefully curated information.

Water for Riley: Design Exhibit

A true community project, inspired by the need for access to drinking water for all comers, this exhibit showcases 21 innovative and playful designs from students from ACAD and SAIT for a much-needed, new public water fountain for Riley Park.
