AGA and ACAD Partner on Artists' Talks

New for 2016, the Art Gallery of Alberta (AGA) and ACAD will partner on a series of artists' talks in Calgary.

Based on artists' featured in current AGA exhibitions, this new series will highlight the work of ACAD alumni, faculty, staff and selected special guests speaking about their artistic practices and work currently on view at the AGA.

For the inaugural artist talk of this series, we invite you to join us for a special presentation on Thursday, April 7 with ACAD alumnae, Brittney Bear Hat & Richelle Bear Hat in a conversation facilitated by AGA Curator Kristy Trinier about their recent exhibition Little Cree Women (Sisters, Secrets & Stories).

The artists' talks will be free of charge and open to the public, so are an excellent opportunity to connect directly with Alberta artists.

Register early, as there will be a limited capacity for this event.
